Just a reminder to everyone that, in addition to the almost 700 photos here on the alumni network site, there are also close to 800 images of the Connecticut Hurricanes thru the years on the
Connecticut Hurricanes Alumni Association photo gallery.
So, get a nice, comfy chair, open up an adult beverage of your choice and check them out.
and, as with all the photos on each site, feel free to comment and to vote on them.

George Chartier, Jr. passed away on May 30th. He was a Hurricane for life. He was in the corp in 1968 - 1969??? We went for the Fanfare several years ago. I know most of your music from George listening to it in the house, in the car, on the computer, and on the surround sound. I think that period of George's life were some of his fondest memories.

FYI...Many members may not be aware that messages sent to you ( as opposed to comments on your wall) can be found at the very top left of the main page where the Ning logo shows. Just next to that logo should be your name, then the Mail icon. if the word "New" is next to it, click there to read messages. You can compose new messages there also.
You can broadcast messages to ALL the members of an individual group by going to the group page and click on "send to everyone".

This morning I learned of the passing of Mrs. Katz "MOM KATZ". I met this special lady many years ago while she was with the Hawthorne Caballero's. I knew her two sons Alan and Josh very well. Alan has been a long time Caballero and I first met Josh back with the Bridgemen. Then years later he also moved on to the Caballero's. Thier Mom was always helping someone and was so proud of her affiliations with whom ever she was working with and of course her Children. She always put her heart and soul…
